New Ground Partnerships
At New Ground Foundation, we believe that no family should navigate life's hardest moments alone. We partner with organizations that share our conviction that every family deserves access to the tools, resources, and relationships they need to thrive. If your work is rooted in compassion and a commitment to renewal, we would love to share New Ground with you. Mission-aligned organizations dedicated to closing education gaps, building financial confidence, walking alongside foster and adoptive families, addressing food insecurity, or breaking down language barriers are invited to apply. Our partnerships are more than funding; they're an invitation to build something meaningful together, with hospitality and purpose at the center of everything we do.
Previous events New Ground has funded include a day retreat for moms who have lost a child, appreciation events for first responders in our community (including DFCS case managers and CASA volunteers), and foster care information nights. Events we support embody a commitment to strengthening the community from the inside out.
FAQs
Do we need a 501(c)(3) to apply?
Yes! New Ground partners with charitable organizations to share event space and provide limited funding to support mission-aligned agencies. We believe transformation conversations happen in meaningful spaces.
What is the typical grant size, and is there a minimum or maximum funding request?
The typical grant size includes an in-kind value equal to a half day rental at New Ground, as well as credit toward catering with Chick-fil-A of Canton. We also provide A/V support, help with parking, and a dedicated project lead to help with planning your event.
How do we apply, and what does the application process look like from start to finish?
Please complete our Google form by answering some basic questions about your event, submit a copy of the event schedule, and any budgets you have set. The New Ground team will meet to discuss the application talk through scheduling logistics. The foundation director will reach out with more information and guide the project manager through the planning process at New Ground. We are with you every step of the way!
What materials or documentation will we need to submit?
You will need a copy of your nonprofit EIN number, an operating budget for the event, and a proposed agenda.
How long does the review process take, and when can we expect a decision?
Requests need to be submitted 90 days in advance, if possible. Applications are reviewed weekly on a case-by case basis.
What does New Ground Foundation expect from its grant partners beyond the funding relationship?
We ask our partners to acknowledge New Ground Foundation as an event partner and allow NGF to capture photos or brief video for impact storytelling (while honoring dignity and privacy).
