At New Ground, our animals are more than just part of the landscape, they’re part of the experience. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or you’ve been here for years, our donkeys, goats, and farm dog Hazel bring joy, connection, and a little extra personality to the property.

Beau & Buck

Beau and Buck are some of the most gentle and curious members of the farm. Often the first to greet guests, they love attention and are always nearby, taking in everything going on around them.

Fun fact: They’re big fans of snacks and a good ear scratch.

Alex, Jack & Diane, and Milkshake

The goats bring energy and fun to New Ground and with names like Alex, Jack & Diane, and Milkshake, they’ve got personality to match.

Always climbing, playing, and exploring, this crew keeps things lively and is a favorite for guests of all ages.

Two of them may or may not be living out their best life… a little ditty-style… right here in Canton.

Fair warning: If you’ve got shoelaces, they might try to investigate.

Hazel

Hazel is the heart of the farm. Always nearby, she keeps watch, greets guests, and makes sure everything is running smoothly. Friendly and loyal, Hazel is a constant companion to both our team and visitors.
